Obama And Fear

One of the biggest ploys Democrats have is scaring people, usually with a lie. Yesterday President Obama decided to try that stunt again.

“I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven’t resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it.”

Yet while the president is playing these type of games, the reality of it is the Daily Treasury Statements published by the U.S. Treasury Department, shows that there is more than sufficient funds to cover the combined costs of federal spending on interest payments, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Veterans Affairs department and federal workers wages and insurance benefits (including wages and insurance benefits for military personnel).

Is this what we should expect from the President of the United States, is he so desperate to raise taxes on the American people so he can continue his out of control spending that he would lie to all of us?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says its best.

“After years of discussions and months of negotiations, I have little question that as long as this president is in the Oval Office, a real solution is unattainable”

The fact the Democrats again want to play the fear card is a sad and shameful on their part. It is a ploy they use time and time again, and it always backfires on them. They really just need to stop lying and start dealing with the budget crisis in this country honestly, sadly I think we are asking for a miracle there.
