President Santorum, I Don’t Think So

The early Republican field for the 2012 campaign has been one of pretenders, contenders and are you serious? Donald trump had some early fun playing with the media and received a ton of exposure something that is so important to him. Then we had Newt Gingrich get into the race, not sure why he would think he would be able to win the parties nomination he is one of the dinosaurs from the past that needs t move aside and let new blood take over and his stumble out of the gate going after Paul Ryan’s plan, which is very popular with so many shows that he no longer is a voice for the conservatives.

The latest one that has shown he is not ready for prime time is former Sen. Rick Santorum who said Tuesday that Sen. John McCain, who spent 5 1/2 years enduring brutal treatment at the hands of his North Vietnamese captors, does not know how effective waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques can be.

How does that shoe taste Rick? How is it, a man who was tortured by some of the most brutal people for over 5 years would not have an understanding of torture? When did you become such an expert, when was the last time you were tortured Rick?

The field of possible candidates has not really excited a lot of people so far, but to have people who want to be president make such foolish statements, well just gives hope to the progressives that their man will get four more years.
