A Little For You and A Little For Me

You just have to love how they do things in DC. They are handing out money like candy to anyone who has their hand out currently, well almost anyone, if you are a taxpayer they don’t have the time to hear from you and how you feel about all of this.

Right now they are struggling with helping out the auto industry, should they get $50,000,000,000 or $14,000,000,00. Should we have the government take control or should we trust them to do the right thing. I just don’t know how they are able to sleep at night with all of theses stressful decisions they have to make with our money.

But it’s good to know that in these times of hardship for so many, they are still able to help those who really need help.

Buried in the the $14 billion bailout plan is a little sweetness for Federal judges to make sure they get a pay raise.

The raise would bring U.S. District court judges up to par with members of Congress, who will receive an almost $5,000 boost on Jan. 1. District judges and lawmakers now earn $169,300 a year but are expected to be awarded a 2.8 percent raise next year. It’s so nice to know that while people are losing jobs by the hundreds every day, that lawmakers and judges will be able to squeeze by next year with a some of the best health benefits on the planet and a pittance of a pay wage.

What is so annoying about this is that they tried to bury it in this bailout.

Harry Tells The TaxpayersLeave it to good old Harry Reid,to insist that the judicial pay raise go into the automaker loan. I guess he figures no one is paying to close attention what they are really doing in DC.

The next four years are going to be unbelievable when it comes to DC running free with your paycheck.
