I work two part time jobs, run a home based business, and my husband is a manger at a company owned by Jewish democrats from Maryland. It is a $75 million dollar a year family business that employs people of all races and backgrounds.
Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America .
Europeans are more socially liberal than Americans, I agree. My grandfather came here from Europe in 1918, with no money. He learned English from working on railroads in Pennsylvania, paid for his brothers and his family to come to the US, and built a very successful business with no government handouts. My other grandfather came from Italy and owned a barbershop and my grandmother was a garment worker for 40 years. They were all democrats. They never voted Republican, ever.
My democrat father in law owns guns, grew up hunting,farming, fishing, and was a high level defense department employee now retired…my mother-in-law a retired nurse. My democrat brother in law is a US Naval Academy graduate and now an FBI agent…other brother in law is a former professional athlete, now a coach. All democrats. Their wives work in private sector jobs like accounting and healthcare, they have kids, all happily married to their original or “starter” wives.
Only Republican in the family is my brother…a corporate bankruptcy attorney who has done verrry well during the Bush years. Enough said.
Your view of the world is very twisted and narrow…you need to expand your mind and get out of this us versus them mentality.

Thank you for taking the time to write. Honestly I do not hate liberals as much as I disagree with them. I guess I do come across as angry in many of my post, maybe I should try and tone down what I post. I guess what it comes down to is the difference as to what liberals believe America should be and how I would like to see America. I have no doubt that most people in this country only want the very best for it and the people living here.
It is not the everyday people who upset me, it is the extremism that is found both on the left and the right. Take for example the first couple of stories on the blog, the prop 8 fight and the Southern Belles. I find what some of the anti prop people to be doing as wrong. Posting peoples addresses because they disagree, interrupting church services, etc. Dissent is a wonderful option in this country but intimidation is not part of it. So I see stories like that and I react, possible a little more hasher than others do, but that is just me. As for the Belles, I just have a hard time with everything from the past seems to be offensive to someone these days.
I will honestly say, I really do not hate anyone, I just get annoyed and come across sometimes……well to put it simply like jerk. We all have passion but mine at times can be a little over the top. I suppose if I were to tone it down my message would be a little less offensive and maybe people would be a little more receptive, who knows maybe President Obama may even make me a little more of a nicer person in the coming years.
Again thanks for writing and I hope I made a little sense on where I am coming from.
