I Was Wrong About The Stimulus

I have been complaining about the package the dems have been trying to get through because I felt it was not going to do what they promised, create jobs and save jobs…..looks like I was wrong.

General Motors plans to invest $1 billion in Brazil to avoid the kind of problems the U.S. automaker is facing in its home market, said the beleaguered car maker.

According to the president of GM Brazil-Mercosur, Jaime Ardila, the funding will come from the package of financial aid that the manufacturer will receive from the U.S. government and will be used to “complete the renovation of the line of products up to 2012.”

Isn’t that wonderful as GM is closing plants here in the USA and people are losing their jobs and homes, they are going to use AMERICAN taxpayer dollars to make sure the Brazilian people stay employed.

A Liberal Learns A Lesson

Here is a classic moment as a liberal talk show host gets schooled on greed.

Harry and Barry

The Democrats are having a few racial problems again within the party. We saw this first arise during the election process as it became apparent racism runs rampant in that party. Turns out the the election of the chosen one has not helped much.

It looks like old Harry Reid argued against appointing Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Rep. Danny Davis or state Senate President Emil Jones, all of whom are black, in favor of either state Veterans Affairs Director Tammy Duckworth, who is Thai-American, or Attorney General Lisa Madigan, who is white.

Prince Riley, a senior consultant to Burris said, “It’s interesting that all those who are viable are white women and the ones who are unacceptable are black men,”

Obama keeps saying that we need to work together, but yet his own party can’t do it.

Then on Saturday we had Barack rename his stimulus package the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan.” Do you still think this guy is not scary……..

He says the “No. 1 goal of my plan … is to create three million new jobs, more than 80 percent of them in the private sector.”

If you do the math: 20 percent of three million means 600,000 new government employees.

SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND NEW GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES? WHY? Government is already a bloated fouled up inefficient mess. Where in the hell are we going to do with 600,000 more dummies?

One More Broken Promise

Oct 27 2007 - “I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank. …” Barack Obama

No Shame

“The first news most Americans heard this morning was the announcement that Sen. Ted Kennedy had passed away after his 15-month battle with brain cancer,” conservative Gary Bauer wrote this week. “The second thing most Americans heard was a shameless attempt by Big Media 'talking heads' and liberal politicians to exploit his death by suggesting that America should honor the senator by stopping the debate and passing ‘health care reform

Destruction

If Al Qaeda wants to demolish the America we know and love, they'd better hurry because Obama's beating them to it.

You Better Listen Democrats

"One day, God's gonna stand before you, and he's gonna judge you and the rest of your damn cronies up on the Hill -- and then you will get your just desserts." - From Sen. Arlen Specter town hall meeting

Stimulus

"Not only has the stimulus not worked and the economy not been rescued, the President continues to promote policies that will create more unemployment in America. The national energy tax that went through this House last month will cause millions of Americans to lose their jobs over the next 10 years, at 2.5 million per year. And we're debating the health care plan, the government takeover of health care, which according to the Presidents council of economic advisors model will cost five million more Americans their jobs."
John Boehner

Idiot

I just don’t understand how anyone would want to be a Republican. I just can’t figure it. I don’t understand. If you’re poor, if you’re any kind of minority - gay, black, Latino, anything. If you’re not a rich - I don’t know. If you’re not a rich born-again-Christian, I don’t get it.

DekeRivers Derangement Count

The MSM media and liberals in general all suffer Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome. They fear this little woman like never before seen. There is a blogger from Madison WI, who has a bad case of it and it's absolutely hysterical to read his post.

In Oct he had 7 post about Sarah which was about average for each month since the end of the election. But now that Obama has become an utter failure he has started to get worked up again and working very hard to discredit one of his major competitors for 2012, currently for November has 19 20 post.

I was worried he would not hit 20, new monthly record! Nice Job Deke!

Be Proud

“I wish that some in the media would keep things like that in perspective, what is really important in our country. And what is important is our freedoms, America’s security, our liberty. Let us continue to love our country, be proud of our country, never apologize for our country.”
- Sarah Palin

Apologize?

We never need to fear that though we're not a perfect nation, that we must apologize for being proud of ourselves.
-- Sarah Palin

Common Sense

Of course, Obama attended a black supremacist church for twenty years, and referred to his grandmother as “a typical white woman,” and wrote a book with the word “race” in the title – which no politically ambitious white writer could ever get away with. But that’s not “racist” or anything. -Kathy Shaidle
