Kirk Coleman, of Jackson County MI is accused of raping and beating his three-month old daughter, pleaded guilty to attempted child abuse. What he should have received was life in prison if he would have been found guilty of the original charges, but instead he faces a maximum of 5 years for attempted child abuse.
He had been charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct and first degree child abuse. Those charges were dismissed in the plea agreement.
Jackson County Prosecutor’s office says that their primary goal was to make sure that Coleman would never again gain custody of his daughter, and this plea accomplishes that. Since he did not plead guilty to criminal sexual conduct he will not be required to register as a sex offender.
Excuse me but would not a life sentence have kept him away from this little girl?
In September of last year, Coleman was accused of the beating and sexual assault of his three-month old daughter, Coleman beat the baby for two days. The girl had to be placed on life support at University of Michigan hospital, and had multiple bone fractures. Jackson County Prosecutor’s office says that the girl will never fully recover from her injuries.
The Assistant Prosecutor Allison Bates is the one who made the deal. Bates felt that medical experts for the defense and prosecution could cast reasonable doubt that Coleman was the sole perpetrator. Bates said her office and Blackman Township detectives are sure Coleman acted alone, but not all of their evidence can be offered in court.
THAT IS A DISGRACE! What the hell is wrong with the DA? This guy should have gotten a life sentence, but once again the abuse of children is not taken seriously in this country.

Once again we have another tragedy in America. This time 33 lives were lost to one madman. While the rest of America mourns the loss of life here, we have a certain group of bloggers and anti gun people who are using this tragedy for political reasons, taking guns away from law abiding citizens.
They are saying this tragedy could have been averted if only guns were taken out of the hands of law abiding citizens. The quickly blame the NRA and Charlton Heston for what happened. Please people can you try and get a grip on reality? Do you live some type of fantasy world where you believe if guns are outlawed that all crime will come to an end?
If the gun control crowd would succeed in getting unnecessary gun laws passed, who do they think this will benefit? What they need to do is ask themselves a question and then answer the question honestly, who do you believe is responsible for most gun crimes in this country, the law abiding citizen who buys his guns legally, has them registered and takes gun safety courses, or the criminal who buys they majority of their weapons on the black market?
Japan has one of the strongest anti gun laws any where, the anti gun people here should ask the mayor of the Japanese city of Nagasaki how well it worked. This poor man was shot to death in a brazen attack Tuesday by an organized crime chief. Mayor Iccho Ito, 61, was shot twice in the back at point-blank range outside a train station Tuesday evening
Every time a tragedy happens this same group of anti guns people come out of the woodwork, sadly they did not even take the time to mourn the lost of life this time, they just bypassed that and went straight to their podium. Very Sad!

We had a tragedy in America again, this time 32 people lost their lives to a madman. The prayers of a nation goes out to all of the families. What is really pissing me off about this is as early as last night, the news people were dragging out “experts” on what the school and police “should have done.”
What the hell is wrong with these people, and I mean the news organizations and the experts? A situation developed, people reacted the best they could at the time, for these nitwits to now sit and judge what people did at the time is pure bullshit! I have already heard people are saying the police chief should resign, the president of the school needs to resign, why? Because they did not lock down a 100 building 22,000 person campus?
Instead of these news organizations trying to stir up issues they should be covering what is going on now, they will have plenty of time to try and make more stories out of the original tragedy in time.
But in todays news world we all know that news organizations want to do more than just report they want to create news.

They feel they are allowed to invade our country as they please, they accuse us of racism when we try to protect OUR borders but yet, they whine and cry about the dumbest actions. I am against the wall, I just think it’s a waste of money, but the more they act like this I am starting to think build it just out of spite.
Poor little Mexico has sent a diplomatic note to the United States upset that there had been an incursion into Mexican territory by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Arizona. Why did they cross into Mexico, they were trying to extinguish a fire. On Monday, Border Patrol agents stationed in Sonoita were trying to put out a brush fire on the U.S. side that quickly spread into Mexico, so being the good people they are the did not worry about boundary lines and did the right thing and as soon as the fire was out the returned back to the USA.
Then the whiners in the Mexican government instead of being thankful for the help, decide to make a political issue out of it. Sure would be great if they got this upset with all of the illegals streaming from their country into ours, but then I guess that would make them racist against their own people.
